	Workshops and Classes Fabulous Favignana with "Italy Retreats" I am excited to announce that I will be teaching the art of watercolor painting and creative journaling this Fall on the beautiful island of Favignana with "Italy Retreats". The inaugural retreat, for women, is about artist expression. It will take place this September on the island , which is just off the western coast of Sicily. This gem of an island with its warm turquoise waters and white buildings with magenta bursts of bougainvillea, is a genuine Italian place where the locals have deep roots and a traditional way of life, unharmed by tourism. The seascapes will sooth our souls and the vibrant Sicilian culture will help us engage more passionately with life. The Alpine garden is a perfect place for a plein air workshop as there are many compositions all ready to be painted.There will be crimson pathways to lead the eye, blue spruce and aspen trees for accents and of course whatever is in bloom at the time. This workshp is for artists that have done some plein air painting previously. Beginner to Advanced Students welcome.
